Brief:
A personal study recreating Studio Moross's visual system for the MTV EMA 2020, focusing on the Best Hip-Hop category animation, to learn directly from leading broadcast design.
A personal study recreating Studio Moross’s visual system for the MTV EMA 2020, focusing on the Best Hip-Hop category animation, to learn directly from leading broadcast design.
Idea: Learn by close observation. I broke down how circular motion, kinetic type and pop-up callouts create rhythm and impact, then rebuilt the sequence frame by frame.
Process: Recreated in After Effects, with close attention to timing, easing and typographic energy. A second version applies the system to a logo from my MA group project.
Outcome: A stronger After Effects workflow, and a clearer understanding of how fast, high-energy broadcast motion still communicates clearly.
