C4D Dynamic Match Intro: City vs. Liverpool
C4D Dynamic Match Intro: City vs. Liverpool
A BROADCAST INTRO CONCEPT FOR THE COMMUNITY SHIELD.
Brief:
A self-initiated broadcast intro for a fictional FA Community Shield match between Manchester City and Liverpool, made to explore the fast, high-energy style of premium live sports broadcasting.
Idea: Recreate the moment before kick-off, when the broadcast builds anticipation. Bold 3D forms and both clubs' identities are timed to feel like a big-match opener.
Process: I modelled, lit and rendered the 3D elements in Cinema 4D, then composited in After Effects 2026, adding dynamic animation, transitions and final polish. I refined the workflow between both tools throughout.
Outcome: A complete broadcast-style intro that sharpened my C4D-to-After Effects pipeline and my feel for timing and pacing in sports broadcast graphics.
Role: Concept, 3D, animation, compositing · Tools: Cinema 4D, After Effects · Year: 2026 · Type: Self-initiated concept, not affiliated with the clubs or The FA
